Race Information

Olympic Triathlon: 1500m Swim - 40K Bike - 10K Run

Sprint Triathlon: 750m Swim - 20K Bike - 5K Run

Duathlon: 5K Run - 20K Bike - 2.5K Run

Where and When?

Duncan Murray Recreation Center, 805 Switzer Drive, Hinton (Across from the pulp mill!)

All races are Sunday June 6th^. The Sprint Triathlon and the Olympic Distance Triathlon will start at 8:00a.m.  The exact time of the swim heats will be available at the carbo dinner.  The Duathlon starts at 9:30 am.

Race Kit Pick-up

Race participants can pick up the race kits and swim heat  times on the evening of Saturday, June 5th  at the Carbo dinner or before the race Sunday morning.  CSA approved bike helmets are required.  There is no official bike check.  General bike condition checks will be done while bikes are in the transition area. 

Entry Deadlines

The entry deadline is Monday, may 31st, 2010.

Carbo Dinner

Saturday June 5th at 6:00 p.m. at the Hinton Curling Rink located to the West of the Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre.  Guests are welcome at an additional  cost of  $10 each. 

Race Times

Body marking begins at 7:00 am.  Swim start times will be available at the Carbo dinner.  Please arrive 20 minutes before estimated swim start.   Duathlon starts at 9:30 am sharp.  There will be chip timing from Results Canada.
